TERRAGROUP CORPORATION
TECWAR®
FIELD WATER PURIFICATION SYSTEMS

MMFFS™ 2000 and 3000
MULTI-FUNCTIONAL MODULAR FLUID FILTRATION SYSTEM ™

The Multi-functional Modular Fluid Filtration System™ was designed for utilization with military tactical water purification, distribution and storage systems. It specifically addresses the military’s need for a portable, lightweight, water treatment system that is easily deployed. MMFFS™ can be configured and used for a variety of different applications including:

  • Produce potable water from virtually any fresh water source
  • Pre-treatment for reverse osmosis water purification units (ROWPU)
  • Post-treatment for meeting discharge standards for backwash or recycling
  • Treats field laundry and shower water enabling discharge or re-use
  • Treats decontamination runoff contaminated with nuclear, biological and chemical (NBC ) constituents
  • Treats reverse osmosis membrane cleaning solutions

Advantages of the MMFFS™ are that it is modular, scalable and highly mobile. It can be used in stand alone water purification applications or for portable water production or as a compliment to military ROWPUs, extending the life and performance of key ROWPU components by removing a wide range of organic and inorganic contaminants from the water supply.MMFFS™ system capabilities include the reduction and/or removal of:

  • Total suspended solids (turbidity)
  • Biological and chemical oxygen demand (BOD and COD)
  • Oils and grease
  • BTEX
  • Heavy metals
  • Phosphates and detergents
  • Nitrates
  • Chlorine
  • Pathogenic micro-organisms
  • NBC agents

The difference between the 2000 and 3000 models is total unit weight and capacity, flow rate and operational footprint.

PRO™ 3000
PORTABLE REVERSE OSMOSIS WATER PURIFICATION SYSTEM

The safest, most reliable method of supplying potable water in the field is by utilizing hyperfiltration (reverse osmosis membrane) technology as the primary source of purification together with specialty absorbents, ion exchange and disinfection.PRO™ 3000 is a modular, lightweight and highly mobile water purification system that is All Source Capable™, meaning that it is suitable for making purified and potable water from a wide range of sources. A major feature of PRO™ 3000 is that it was also developed for use by highly mobile teams in remote sights and expeditionary forces.

Advantages include:

  • Ultra-lightweight modular design
  • All Source Capable™ (can be used on source water containing CL2 without the need for chemical neutralization)
  • Open frame design for quick and easy deployment and maintenance
  • Seven minute element change out
  • Combined 22 HP diesel engines operating on diesel or JP8
  • Versatile footprint allows 100 yard ‘source to storage’ or ‘tailgate’ configuration (and anything in between)

RECOR® REACTOR PAK
RETICULATED ELECTRO-CATALYTIC OXIDATION REDUCTION PAK®

The Reticulated Electro-Catalytic Oxidation Reduction® PAK (RECOR®) can be used as a pretreatment for existing freshwater systems applications in a stand alone configuration or together or with other TECWAR® tactical water systems. RECOR® was designed for utilization with U.S. Military tactical water purification, storage and distribution systems.

It specifically addresses the military’s need for a portable, lightweight, high-flow, pre-and pos-treatment unit capable of enhancing and extending military ROWPU operations through the non-chemical removal of chlorine from municipal water source and the control of biofilm and hardscale buildup.

  • Increases ROWPU efficiency by reducing water molecule clusters
  • Protects and extends life and performance of key ROWPU components
  • Allows ROWPU to be All Source Capable™
  • Removes free chlorine, iron and hydrogen sulfide
  • Prevents biofilm buildup and mineral hardness scale
  • Nonexistent foot print is designed for high mobility and rapid response
